Nicole L. Beckwith

Nicole L. Beckwith (she/her/hers) is the Research Team Lead for the Southern AIDS Coalition - Evaluation Team on the Gilead COMPASS Initiative.  Nicole has over 20 years of experience in public health and has degrees in Public Health and Public Administration.  Nicole is a native of Raleigh, North Carolina.  Nicole has been with CHPIR since 2018 has worked in her role as research team lead since her start.  Prior to CHPIR Nicole was employed with the state of NC for 16 years.  The COMPASS Initiative (COMmitment to Partnership in Addressing HIV/AIDS in Southern States) works to address the HIV/AIDS epidemic in the Southern United States by collaborating with local community organizations and stakeholders to use evidence-based solutions to meet the needs of people living with and impacted by HIV/AIDS.  Nicole is a community organizer and entrepreneur at heart and is passionate about addressing and creating solutions for racial, social and health disparities that impact communities and people of color.
