Proyecto Luz 2.0

  •

Proyecto Luz is a collaborative, community-based study designed to gather information on how laws associated with immigration affect the health and wellbeing of Latino immigrants in North Carolina [Tennessee]. Survey findings will allow us to better understand how public health efforts within Latino communities are influenced by current immigration policies. Participants in the study will complete an anonymous, computer-based survey in Spanish and receive up-to-date information on HIV prevention and health-related federal immigration law. The Latino Commission on AIDS and our Center for Health Policies and Inequalities Research are collaborating with the researchers at the Medical College of Wisconsin’s Center for AIDS Intervention Research to implement this important study and analyze the data collected.
