Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Program (AP3)

  • The overall purpose of this project is to implement an intensive teen pregnancy and STD/HIV prevention program, in collaboration with community-based partners, to effectively reduce and delay the behaviors that put one at risk for teen pregnancy and STD/HIV. CHPIR is partnering with the Craven County Health Department (CCHD) in New Bern, NC. Our mission is to prevent teen pregnancy and STD/HIV transmission within the population of adolescents served, as well as to build essential life skills to reduce future risk behavior for these adolescents in Craven County, NC.
