Erin Lane

    • Position: Director of Research Translation
    • Education:M.T.S, Gender, Ministry, and Theology, Duke University, 2012; BA, Anthropology, Davidson College, 2006

Erin is the Director of Research Translation for the Clergy and Congregations Research Collaborative, which means working with both the Clergy Health Initiative and the Religion and Social Change Lab to help make their research matter. Using her background as both a popular author and vocational facilitation, her main responsibilities include understanding the small mountain of research accumulated by the Collaborative, discerning how and to whom it'd be most useful, and then packaging it into more accessible resources like programs, curricula, and general trade book projects that delight and inspire. She's especially interested in the vocational formation of non-clergy-track students in seminary and supporting them, as well as faculty and staff, in understanding the unique strengths and needs they bring to theological education. Her happy place is a leash-less dog in an open field.
