    Jess (they/them/theirs) is an experienced program coordinator, service provider, and educator from North Carolina. Their work history includes teaching high school, college, and graduate students and serving in staff roles at nonprofits focused on LGBTQ campus climate, sexual violence prevention and response, and homelessness and housing insecurity. They are interested in efforts that disrupt unjust systems and increase access for marginalized people seeking resources that are critical to their health and well-being. They joined the CHPIR staff in 2020 to work on Project Uplift, a program focused on improving health outcomes for young sexual and gender minorities.
